G Hotel G Lounge Cuppa & Cuppa and Coffee Toffee

The main selling point was supposed to be the cupcakes but I guess the limelight shone on my legs instead.

Many good times at G Hotel but this was the first time we dined at
their chic G Lounge, the longest hotel bar in Penang. 

Instead of buffet or clanging beer glasses under a tree, we had sweet treats this round!

Their award-winning pastry chef Tan Kwee Lian has introduced

4 lovely fruity flavored cupcakes catering to fellow sweet tooth!

The 4 flavors are Apple, Orange, Prune and Apricot.

I tried the orange and prune ones, they were moist, buttery and lightly sweetened.

Instead of just merely cupcakes topped with cream, there are real fruits in each of them!

Random serious face just in case you haven't seen me... well, not smiling.

To complement the cupcakes, G Lounge is serving Ronnefeldts,
the top premium tea brand from Germany.

We sampled Creme Orange, Sweet Berries, Refreshing Mint and Fruity Camomile.

My favorite would be Sweet Berries for its sheer sour note.

The cupcakes are not sold individually, but in a set called Cuppa & Cuppa

where you choose any two cupcakes and one flavor of refillable tea.

The set is available from 3pm to 6pm daily and priced at RM35++.

If you're more of a coffee person like me, opt for their freshly brewed coffee!

Apart from the cupcakes, they have also added a new drink - Coffee Toffee to the coffee menu.

Freshly brewed coffee added with steamed milk and swirly sweet caramel,

topped with foam and sprinkled with shaved chocolate toffee.

Sided with two pieces of cookies, it's a bitter sweet affair.

Coffee Toffee is priced at RM15++ each and available from 10am to 1am everyday.

We also sampled(I kinda demanded)some finger-lickin-good snacks later on.

The price ranges from RM16++ to RM30++, love especially the tempura prawn 

as well as deep fried calamari for their freshness and juiciness.
