CS Euro - Peugeot Northern Region Dealer | Peugeot 308 THP 508 HDi Review

香车没有配美人,所以没有俊男,只有泰国劳工。
If you don't understand Mandarin, then it's too bad. On a serious note,
thanks to CS Euro - Peugeot Northern Region Dealer, we traveled to Hat Yai in style in January.
Check out the 3D2N travel post here, of course thanks to Win Win  for taking this picture for me :3

When it comes to car, I give my friends the wrong idea that I'm quite an expert in it
as I'm driving a manual car but the truth is, I know nothing about cars.
You don't want to know how ignorant I am when it comes to cars.
Anyway,
here's a review on the two Peugeot cars that we test drive in Hat Yai,
please don't be hard on me, this is my first time writing a car review.
And I would like to apologize that it takes so long for me to churn out this post.
First thing first, here's a little history about the brand:
Peugeot was founded in 1810 in France and surprisingly,
they started with producing coffee mills and bicycles instead of cars.
The brand went through many ups and downs over the years but long story short,
Peugeot is now available in 160 countries with more than 10,000 outlets with
1,710,000 vehicles sold worldwide in 2015 alone. There are 43 Peugeot service centres in Malaysia!
Over 200 years of history, the brand, especially 308 which I will be talking more about it later
has won numerous awards as well as the world's best seller in 2015.
Peugeot has also won 2016 Dakar recently, read more about it here.
So what makes Peugeot stands out among other brands?
They do not compromise on design, safety and performance.
French is all about class, beauty and romance, so of course, Peugeot has these elements.
Sleek in design, its identity is elegant distinct clearly from the rest with its own signature lights.
All Peugeot cars come with Michelin tires, full LED head lamp, 6 air bags with fast chassis and suspension,
giving you the ultimate experience on the road.
The concept of their cars are inspired by rally race so they are suitable for bumpy Malaysian roads.

I'm so sorry the photo I took of this car was horrible :(

So here's a video hehe

As silly as I am, the first thing that impressed me is the panoramic roof which allows me to enjoy the view on the road while I lie there comfortably with music in my ears and so much in life to ponder.
As I have mentioned earlier, this car has won many awards such as Engine of The Year for 8 consecutive years.
That's really something isn't it?
I enjoyed driving this one, the journey was a smooth one as the control of the car was easy-peasy.
It was so stable that I didn't realized that I was driving at 180km/hr and fret not if you're driving too fast and
not braking at the right time as the braking system would alert you if you're driving too close to the car in front of you.
Love the sports leather compact steering wheel and the sports seats which are usually used in Ferrarisand Lamborghinis.
Music lovers would absolutely enjoy the ride while you blast your favorite songs as there are
high fidelity arkamys sound staging with 6 speakers. Close your eyes and imagine yourself in some
Nicholas Spark's movie, so please don't play Skrillex.
It also comes with integrated reverse camera, touch screen dual zone climate control and
9.7" HD multifunction touch screen with full multimedia connectivity.
Oh and the boot space is ridiculously big, best car for shopaholics' trip down to KL!

Peugeot 508 HDi

I haven't ride in a diesel car for awhile now and I was glad this one is a 2.2-litre turbodiesel HDI.
Am I weird that I love the sound produced by diesel car? It's kind of therapeutic to me :X

This one is spacious, 5 person could fit comfortably in, best for family.
The safety system is also top-notch with Blind Spot Information System (BLISS)
where it focuses on the car's blind spots and alert the driver. Damn cool la!
Another cool thing is the cruise control, best for long highway drive!
Love their Jukebox system where you can store your own songs without having
to connect with your phone or pendrive when you're in the car.
The best part? The front and driver seats are massage chairs, how chio is that?! But be cautious,
don't fall asleep while you drive and being in the seventh massage heaven.
Not convinced yet? Then I should overwhelm you with the benefits if you were to get a Peugeot!
Let's talk about insurance. Normal insurance would only pay market value if anything were to happen
to your car but with Peugeot Protect, they will pay the remaining to you
on top of the amount your insurance is paying between 5 years from the day you purchased your car.
It covers accidents, natural disasters, fire, flood and even total lost, they will replace with a brand new car!
On top of that, their exclusive service includes a five years warranty of free service for
engine oil, spare part and labour fee. Why did I not know about this before I bought my paliah car? T_T
I'm not done yet. Their Peugeot Assistance is available 24-hours anytime,
anywhere your car is broken down between the 3 years you purchased your car.
They will even provide a night stay at the nearest hotel where your car broke down
in case you're far away from home or provide you with a replacement
rental car if you need one. All for FREE!
And that's not all! Peugeot owners will also enjoy the privilege at Peugeot Lounge at the Subang Airport
where you are pampered with food and drinks, something to read, wifi and a place to rest your feet.
If you're a business person, you can even invite your business partners to hold a meeting there
while you wait for your flight. Now you can fully utilize your free time and get more things done!

We visited the Blue Box in Butterworth and pretty impressed by everything here.
This service centre cum car showroom provides tip-top service as well as the comfort for the entire family.
They have a family room with TV, kids corner and even meeting rooms for again, those business people
to get things done while they wait for their car to be serviced. Complimentary drinks and wifi are provided as well.

Huge thanks to the marketing manager of CS Euro Sean Ooi for this exclusive interview and tour,
we, especially me have learnt so much!
