E&O Hotel Buka Puasa Buffet Dinner

I looked as if I work here and Lean Hooi at the back looked like
he was asking somebody to keep quiet so we could vain in peace.
On a serious note,
The last time I dined at this elegant restaurant was back in 2011, which was 4 years ago. Time sure flies.
Anyway, I don't know about you but to me, fasting month means buffet dinner!

Sarkies' buffet is known for their wide variety of choices. Thought it was going to be a pure Malay buffet spread,
but we were totally spoilt with their extensive selection of food!
Begin your journey here; The ulam corner alone already impressed me!
There were also fresh greens, tau kwa with peanut sauce and acar.
Smoke Tenggeri and Salmon
Nasi Tomato
Udang Kering Bersantan
Kurma Kambing
Sauteed Vegetables
Baked Whole Salmon
Sze Chuan Chicken
Not only Malay, but they feature some good classic Asian dishes as well such as
foo young stir fried eggs, beef goulash, fried squid ring tomyam.
Other Malay dishes included ayam percik, daging masak merah, gulai ketam kampung style, lala tumis kering and rending daging. By this point I was already thinking how is it possible for me to try each and every of them!
Where do I start?
I turned around and oh my, I have completely lost my mind.
Look at those salmon on the grill!
At the action section, they have grill salmon steak, saba fish, prawn, scallop, squid ring, lamb chop,
chicken breast, beef and chicken sausage and jumbo sausage with so many varieties of sauces to be selected from!
I highly recommend or even beg you to go for their lamb chop, SO. GOOD!
Don't forget to drizzle mint sauce on it!
Assorted bread
Creamy Mushroom Soup
Char Koay Teow
Tuna, salmon and yellow tail sashimi, I wonder how many times can I lose my mind.
Oyster Cocktail
Green Mussels
Spanner Crab
Bleached Shrimps
Seafood enthusiasts would totally melt at this point. Apart from sashimi, seafood on ice,
there are also assorted sushi including ebi, inari topped with tuna mayo,
kanpyo roll, spicy scallop, tamago sushi and kappa maki.

Meat lovers would go insane at the carvery corner which features E&O Roasted Duck(highly recommended),
Roasted Lamb, Roasted Beef and Roasted Chicken which ...
I forgot to take photos. I apologize for that but please use your imagination okay?
Actually, you can just make your life easier by checking other blogs such as this, this and this.
Lamb and Chicken satay
Roasted Whole Lamb
Curry Salmon Fish Head
Head out to the garden for more goodies! The roasted whole lamb was tad bit of salty
and I love love love the lamb satay! So tender, sweet and juicy!
Ah neh, teh tarik satu!
Apart from this, they offer cold beverages such as roselle juice,
wintermelon with longan juice, tamarind juice, kurma juice and fruit punch.
My oh my, their desserts are worth the sugar-rush!
There were many varieties such as strawberry cheese cake, blueberry cheese cake,
greentea mousse, cream puffs, macarons, mango puddings and assorted Malay kuih.
I would totally recommend their soft, sweet and slightly bitter tiramisu!
If you're creative(like us), make yourself a cuppa affogato as they offer ice-cream as well as fresh coffee!
