Always my favorite, Hard Rock Hotel Penang brought back
Rock Platter this Ramadhan that features soup of the day,
salad and a variety of scrumptious dishes that include grilled mini shrimp quesadilla,
lip-smacking hickory-smoked BBQ beef ribs and mini juicy beef burger
with rendang sauce, adding a little Malaysian twist on a typical tex-mex dish.

Almost forgot, that's Philip and Karen, two cheeky thing I miss very dearly.
Cucur Udang, Serene told me it's really nice and when I went back trying to devour one, they're all gone.
Me favorite keropok lekor! There are also keropok udang and keropok sayur.
They've got a pretty crazy variety of Malay kuih-muih, kerabu and salad for starter.

This guy is so fly! Oh I mean the roti canai
At the carving station, try the roasted whole lamb with grilled vegetable,
comes with rosemary, mint au jus and percik sauce.
There are also chicken & beef satay, tandoori chicken with naan and prawn mee.
Lamb Shawarma with pita bread, eat it with mint sauce. Heavenly.
Okay finally, DESSERT! Somebody is hungrier than I am.
Strawberry Struddel, ain't it graceful like a swan? Slightly too sweet to my liking tho.
This pengat nangka is one of the not-to-be-missed.
The aromatic warm jackfruit in coconut gravy, sago and palm sugar is simply devine.
Among all, this Chocolate Coffee Walnut Mousse would be my favorite
as it isn't entirely sweet but ends on a bitter note.

Free flows of thirst quenchers are available at the drinks corner.
They include rose cordial with lychee, soya bean with grass jelly(or some people calls it
Michael Jackson) and teh tarik. Add some milk in the rose cordial and you get air bandung!

To end the night, I treated myself with a cup of hot coffee. Insomnia can wait.
