The Mangoes Cafe Gurney Paragon

Wherever the man goes, the heart follows,
Love the warm and colorful setting, especially these green, blue and pink chairs.
Previously located at Beach street, this cafe offers quick light meal
and coffee-to-go perfect for those busy souls. But of course, if you have the time,
chill at the their comfortable couches with some bites, cakes and coffee or tea.
Palm Sugar Latte [RM10] | Iced Latte [RM11]
Aren't those mugs adorable?
Using specialty grade blends from the Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai province,
their medium dark roast coffee beans gives a smooth, mellow and complex profile.
Apart from these, they serve interesting drinks such as Sea Salt Iced Coffee Float,
Fresh Mango Sour Plum and Lemongrass. And oh, they have tea too!
Mixed Leaf Salad with Coffee Vinaigrette [RM12]
Focaccia Bread [RM10]
With chili and lime jam, holy basil and lemon yoghurt relish, spiced onion and coffee marmalade dips.
Coffee-Roasted Chicken Sandwich with holy basil and lemon yoghurt relish [RM16]
Smoked Salmon Wrap with cucumber, tomato and chili and lime jam [RM22]
Chicken Wrap with cucumber and celery with coffee BBQ sauce [RM18]
Here's something very interesting about their food -
Not only they are cooked from scratch, the chef uses European cooking technique
infused with local spices and beefed up with coffee flavor.
It's like a marriage of European and Malaysian with a drip of espresso,
where there's always an appetizing twist(onion, chili) with a slight bitter sweet coffee that lingers in your mouth.
Love their foccacia bread with surprise onion sandwiched in between,
perfect with the creamy lemon yoghurt relish and sweet spiced onion and coffee marmalade.
Most of all, they're pretty healthy!
Mango Cheesecake [RM10]
Mocha Brownie with vanila ice cream [RM8]
Hawaiian Carrot Cake [RM12]
Salted Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake [RM12]
Gula Melaka Cheesecake [RM10]
Signature Gula Melaka Cheesecake Sundae [RM10]
Using local ingredients and flavors with contemporary western baking style,
I must say, their cakes didn't disappoint at all.
I'm not a fan of carrot cake but the one they serve here is pretty impressive
with pineapple and coconut flavors added to the chunky cake and salty creamy cheese.
Love their warm and soft brownie and not to forget their mango cheese cake,
it was light, not cloying at all and oh the mango fragrant sent me straight to seventh heaven!
*drumrolls*
It's giveaway time!
I have 10 pieces of RM10 discount voucher with me, drop me an e-mail if you want to grab one.
