Dakgalbi at Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant, Solaris Mont Kiara

Annyeonghaseyo!
Despite my love for Korean food, this is my first time blogging about it.

As we were confirming our schedule,
Yong2 just couldn't stop talking about this Uncle Jang.
How good it is, how popular it is, a must-try etc etc.
Amended our itinerary to fulfill her dream, best cousin or what?

So we went round and round the building at Mont Kiara,
looking for their signage with a guy who looks like KFC Colonel Sanders.
As soon as we got down from the car,Yong2 told me he saw someone
who looks like the guy in the logo.

And here, I present you
The guy in the logo, Uncle Jang himself!
Such a nice guy, posing under the signage for my camera :)
Lucky us though, he was gonna hop in his car for a meeting in Johor.
Very warm and homey place.
As we had very late lunch that day, that's why you don't see any people here.
If you are thinking of ordering Kimchi stew or Bibimbap here,
sorry this is not what you signed up for.
As their main highlight here is Dakgalbi. What is Dakgalbi you may ask?
Read yourself.
Okay here:
"Dakgalbi is a popular Korean dish generally made by stir-frying marinated diced chicken in a

gochujang (chili pepper paste) based sauce, and sliced cabbagesweet potatoscallions,

onionsggaennip, and tteok (rice cake) together on a hot plate."
- grabbed from Wikipedia.
A list of add-ons to choose from, cheese sounds interesting!
I was too hungry to think, the girls ordered 3 portions of non-spicy and 1 spicy.
Non-spicy priced at RM19/portion while spicy priced at RM22/portion.
Kimchi, onion and fresh lettuce for sides.
Sit back and relax, camera point and shoot as they cook for you!
It smells really really good.
It's pretty satisfying, but slightly too oily for me.
If you are a clumsy eater like me, fret not!
Cute red bibs for everyone!
We ordered this Samgye Tang[RM19] too but I was too busy enjoying my Dalgakbi
so I totally forgotten how does this taste, very irresponsible I know.
